Transformational Journey In Asia:

The making of the Leaders of tomorrow

This Transformational Journey Will Open Up New Horizons for the Youth which they will bring back to their Nations. And they will bring new ideas and new concepts to take their Nations to the New World while staying deeply rooted in their own culture.

 To: First Nations Leadership

Hello, this is Tulshi Sen from Tulshi Sen Consulting,

We have been working with the First Nations since 1998.

We have been working with North America and Internationally in the field of Leadership, Education and Personal Development and Growth for the last 30 years.

We bring you a program that grew out of our success with the youth of other First Nations. It works. We also know it answers a big portion of the youth issues that affects most First Nations.

The Answers The First Nations Leaders Seek

Q1. How can we inspire our youth to stay rooted in our culture and customs and stand on an equal footing  with the rest of the world?

Q2. How can we make our youths aspire to be highly educated in light of the conditions that some of them feel trapped into?

Q3. What is the formula of success for our youth so that they don’t limp into the 21st century?

Q4. How can we motivate and empower our youth to take on the leadership role and create a culture of success within our Nations?

 Answer to Q1.

The youth are already rooted in their culture and have survived super major onslaughts from the outside since 1492 and still respect and preserve their culture and their Elders.

What they need is experiencing the outside world, experiencing life as it is played out in the emerging economies. How other people and their Nations have survived and built cultures and economies …which other cultures now follow and trade with.

 Answer to Q2.

Education is purpose driven. The higher the education the more intense the purpose.

This transformational journey gives the youth all the ingredients and empowerment by practical direct experience to develop purpose and aspire higher education. They should be the new educational culture among their own peers. They will aspire for purpose when they see their destiny to follow. “We are what our deep driving desire is”.

 Answer to Q3.

The Western world llives in a culture that venerates success and not survival.

The rest of the world have followed that path and now challenges and threatens the Western world. They did not have to change their traditional cultures.

The Chinese didn’t have to lose their Chinese-ness to adopt the success formula of the USA and the Western world. They stayed Chinese and challenge America. The Indians from India did not lose their culture to adopt the success formula of the Western World. They came to the west and adopted the best, remained rooted in their culture and became powerful nations.

 Answer to Q4.

We have seen over and over again how youths have gone out to Asia and abroad under our training and brought in fresh ideas and empowered not only themselves but others.

These youths will become virtual trainers of their own people

They will not only lay out the dream catcher, they will also make themselves and their peers the dream machines. Empowered people are dreamers and visioners.

The majority of the people who give up on education and their aspiration do so because they do not feel valued. They become incapable of dreaming. They are afraid to dream.

The Youth wants to be understood (there is a great difference between knowing and understanding)

This journey will well up from inside the youth their own value, their capacity to dream.

They will now know that they will be appreciated and trusted.

They will openly communicate their visions and values, show respect for culture and traditions, focus on shared goals other than personal agendas and they will do the right things regardless of personal risk.

They will listen with an open mind and maintain their confidence.

A chief once told me that “Our welfare budget is close to a million dollars and our economic development budget is $124,000 including the salary of the EDO. I want to reverse it.”

Now is the time to make tomorrows leaders today

To fast track the youth into leadership based on direct experience of social, psychological, and economical experience…. in the heart of Asia

They are not going to be shown how to start a business. Neither are they going to be shown how to make products and services… they will experience how business is done today. They will also see the emotional, educational and social side that is required to build a Nation in today’s world.

Economics is just the scoreboard of the emotional, physical and educational social health of a community.

A Leader ought to know how other Nations who are successful are encouraging their own people to be successful. That is what they are going to experience and learn.

Harmonize with the current Social and Economic Conditions of the world

It is a fact that in today’s world, distance is dead and geographical isolation is no longer an obstacle to embrace the global opportunities. This Camp will provide the Leadership and Youth with direct insight into the Global Economy and how it operates in individual lives and Communities throughout the world.

It is a fact that in today’s world the individual and groups are not limited by their pocket book as much as they are limited by their imagination and their insight. This Camp will stimulate the Imagination of the Leadership and the Youth.

We live in a world where anything that is imagined probably already exists or can be made.

We know today’s world belongs to the visionary more than to the logician. This Mission in Asia will be an ideal place for the Leadership, to think out of the box and create a new outlook to add to their vision for social and economic growth for the Nation and the Youth of the Nations.

A Mission to build a vision of Personal and Economic Development right in Hong Kong, the meeting place of all cultures of the World for Business

To see the possibilities; to help chart a new course for social, economic and leadership development of the Youth and the Nation
… “We are a rich country. We have choices. We can choose to provide Aboriginal children and youth with a much better chance in life… But it is way too late for small, timid steps.

We need big, bold, innovative, forward thinking….that is built by, for and with Aboriginal peoples.”

John Rook, Chairperson, National Council on Welfare Reports Fall 2007 Vol. 127

 The Purpose of the Mission

  1. To explore the possibilities how the First Nations can export Aboriginal Products and trade with the world with Aboriginal renewable resources

 Global Careers and Remote Employment

Today an individual can get employment in any major city and they do not have to commute or live in any particular location.

To know how to take advantage of the opportunities will require insight into the world economy and how it functions today. This wisdom cannot be acquired from books. It must be experienced.

Job opportunities need not only be produced in the Nation. They can live in the Nation and work anywhere in the world and earn more than they ever imagined.

The participants can formulate ideas while in the Mission to facilitate training and development in the Nation for enabling members of the Nation to seek remote employment. They will not commute they will telecommute.

 Global Trading House

The leadership and the participants will also get a first hand experience as to how global trading houses work in Asia. The participants will experience how to engage global trading houses to work for their Nations to support their own economic initiatives.
The First Nations have resources such as water, minerals, agriculture and lumber, etc., the world needs these scarce resources and these can be distributed to the Asian Nations from China through the trading houses.

 Youth Programs

Creating a Vision for Youth programs

To unleash the creativity of the youth will be the first priority of discussion, observation and planning in the Mission.

The Trade Fairs will be the site where discussions and planning will be done based on practical application. This will give the leadership an immediate grasp of the opportunities available.

In the Mission they will see how the youth of the world are being empowered today in the global economy. They will also see how creativity is the real capital of the world today when backed by innovation.

India and China, the fastest growing economy in the world, have very little natural resources if any. They are growing faster than any nation in the world. Why? Because of the creativity of their people which is their natural resource. The First Nations Leadership and participants will pickup pointers with which they can facilitate empowering their youth and the people of their Nations to enhance their creativity.

Developing Strategies for Transition into Today’s Economy

This Mission will give the leadership and the participants the first hand experience of how the world is operating today. This vision of implementing the strategy of change can be formulated from their own experience in the Mission.

Protocols and Systems for Personal and Economic Development

With the proliferation of instant communications through audio, video and internet and phone system, business deals are made everyday globally.

The Leadership of any nation and any corporation know that they need to know these protocols and systems to lead their nations and their corporations.

This Mission will be the venue through which the participants will be able to orient themselves speedily and effortlessly in Cross Cultural activities.

  The New Business Culture

Now we live in the midst of a new business culture. This is the world of collaboration and partnering. We live in a Global community, where knowledge of Social Skills is essential in building businesses and economies. Large corporations are investing heavily now more than ever before in training their leadership and their staff in this new culture.

 The Process of Global Trade

This Mission will be of great value to demystify cross border transactions; to know how import and export transactions take place.

The participants will be oriented in this enormously important economic development tool onsite as it happens.

 Meeting With The Global Market

The leadership of the First Nations in this Mission will be immersed in Globalization in the midst of a Global Trade Conference and Trade Fairs.

They will be rubbing shoulders with others who are in the flow of the Globalization process.

We also know that the playing field of the world of business has been levelled and everyone can stand on an equal footing regardless of their present size of business, Nations and Communities.

 Who Should Participate?
